The Races

50 Mile Solo and Relay

The 50 mile race is point-to-point run. Starting in Bellvue, runners will travel from Bellvue, through Fort Collins, Timnath and Windsor to complete their journey in Greeley.

50 Mile Relay Teams: Teams of Two to Four, completing 12 Legs, ranging from 3 - 7 miles for each Leg.

100 Mile Solo and Relay

The 100 mile race is a unique blend of an in person and virtual event:

Participants will run 50 miles on Sunday, with the 50 Mile distance race, and complete the other 50 miles on their own between April 4th and 18th.

The "virtual" miles can be completed on the Poudre Trail or any other location of your choosing, with results being submitted through the race website. These miles can be done all at once or divided into multiple runs within the given time frame. Once both the in person (race day) and "on-your-own" miles have been completed, you'll receive your 100 Mile belt buckle in the mail.

Relay Teams: Teams of Two to Eight

FAQ

Relay Structure:

Teams will complete the course using a single vehicle for transportation between exchange points. While one runner is on the course, the rest of the team will travel ahead to the next exchange location.

All exchanges are located at trailheads and are accessible by car, making transitions smooth and easy to navigate.

Teams have full flexibility in how they divide their legs. Runners can complete one leg at a time or take on multiple consecutive legs—it’s entirely up to your team’s strategy.

When not running, teammates will act as the support crew from the team vehicle, helping keep runners fueled, hydrated, and ready for their next leg.
